Artist: YUAN YU Yuan was born in 1969 and he is a native of Changsha, Hunan province. In 1992, after graduated from the Art Department of Huazhong Teaching Institute, Yuan became a professional artist and specialized in oil painting. In 2012, Yuan was honored with a certificate of merit at the Hunan Young Artists Exhibition. In 2013, Yuan’s work of art was awarded a silver medal at a prestigious Spanish art exhibition. In 2014, Yuan went to Spain to continue his study and research on oil painting. Also in 2014, Yuan’s work of art received a certificate of merit at the 12th National Art Exhibition. Yuan is currently residing in Changsha. Apart from painting, Yuan is actively involved in the promotion of oil painting in Hunan.  |
